Terms and Conditions of Sale
Definitions
“The Company” means The Beauty Partnership Limited “The Purchaser” means the Customer “Goods” means all items as offered for sale by the Company
Ownership
It is a condition of all sales that legal ownership of all goods does not pass from the Company until payment is received in full.
Risk
It is a condition of sale that all insurable risk in the goods shall pass to the purchaser upon collection of the goods by the purchaser or on delivery of goods to the purchaser’s delivery address.
Prices
All Prices quoted are those ruling at the time in accordance with the Company’s price list, and are totally exclusive of VAT and/or delivery charges.
Payment
All sales are conducted on a pro-forma basis and no goods shall be dispatched by the Company until payment has been made in full. Payment can be made by all major credit cards and or debit cards. Where payment is being made by cheque no goods shall be dispatched until such time as the cheque has cleared. In the event of a cheque being returned the Company reserves the right to make a charge of £10 for processing.
Claims & Discrepancies
Discrepancies in your order or claims for loss or damage to goods in transit must be made to the Company within 3 days of receipt. The Company are not responsible for any losses sustained by the purchaser due to acts of God, delays in transit and goods damaged in transit. All orders sent out through Royal Mail are sent out uninsured at the purchaser’s discretion and WILL NOT be replaced by The Company if damaged, lost or undelivered.
Faulty Goods (non electrical)
Any item the purchaser feels to be faulty can be returned to The Company for testing. All costs to return the item are to be paid by the purchaser and will only be refunded should the product be found to be faulty. If the product is found to be faulty a replacement will be sent or a refund may be offered*. In the event a product is found to be faultless then the item will be returned to the purchaser, The Company reserves the right to charge postage to return items deemed faultless.
Faulty Goods (electrical)
A 6 month warranty is supplied by The Company with all electrical goods sold through The Company. Any electrical item the purchaser feels to be faulty within the warranty period is covered under the same terms as non electrical goods. This warranty covers faults inherent to the product and does not cover the product if it has been damaged through misuse.
Refunds
Products - Goods are not offered on a sale or return basis. However, goods that have been ordered in error will normally be accepted for return if done so within 7 days from the date of purchase. Such goods must arrive back to us in perfect, re-saleable condition with any seals applied to the goods still intact. Credits for goods ordered it in error will applied to your account, and not back to The Purchaser. The Company will refund the price paid for the goods minus any costs incurred delivering them. The Purchaser is responsible for all goods until they have been received by The Company.
Courses - Courses for which we have already sent you a Booking Confirmation may not be cancelled without you forfeiting the deposit you will have already paid. The booking deposit is non-refundable and non-transferable (except with our express written consent). Additionally, we reserve the right to charge you for the balance of the Course fees if we cannot fill your place with another student unless you have given us a minimum of 7 days' notice of your cancellation prior to the first day of the Course.
Delivery
The Company endeavours to despatch goods on the same day they are ordered providing such order is received by 1.00pm and subject to payment being received as above. Delivery dates cannot be guaranteed, as third party carriers are used and delays may therefore occur beyond the control of the Company.
Charges
Delivery is FREE on all orders over £100** (before VAT).
Delivery is FREE on orders over £200 (before VAT) to Northern Ireland, Southern Ireland, the Republic of Ireland, Isle of Man, Channel Islands & selected postcodes in Scotland. For the full list of postcodes covered please see below.
Orders under £100 (before VAT) will be charged according to the size, weight and value of the parcel. The tariff charged by the carrier is not necessarally what is charged to the customer. Charges are as follow:
Royal Mail (First Class) - £3.10 +VAT, qualifying orders must be: under £20.00 (including VAT) in value, under 250g in weight & not contain any goods deemed hazardous by local authorities e.g. Success liquid, Natural Nail Prep & over 3 polishes. All orders sent out through Royal Mail are sent out uninsured at the purchaser’s discretion and WILL NOT be replaced by The Company if damaged, lost or undelivered.
Business Post (2 working day service) - £6.50 +VAT, any orders that don’t qualify for First Class postage to all post codes in England, Wales & selected postcodes in Scotland. For the full list of postcodes covered by the £6.50 postage please see below.
Business Post (2 working day service) - £21.50 +VAT, ALL orders to Northern Ireland, Southern Ireland, the Republic of Ireland, Isle of Man, Channel Islands & selected postcodes in Scotland. For the full list of postcodes covered by the £21.50 postage please see below.
